We're looking for a few good citizens!

LakewoodAlive invites all Lakewood residents to join. We are nonpartisan and there is no membership fee, though we welcome contributions to defray expenses. Please note, however, that because of our tax status, contributions to LakewoodAlive are not tax deductible.

Membership Benefits: You can expect the following resources:

Our website, which will provide a learning center environment regarding economic development and current and future projects involving Lakewood;
Our e-newsletter, that will be sent by email regularly to all members with up to date Lakewood information;
Our speaker series, that will provide forums that will promote dialogue and understanding about economic development in Lakewood.

LakewoodAlive can help you better understand economic development and the changes required; value the importance of it to Lakewood and; feel personally empowered to get involved and contribute to Lakewood’s economic future.

LakewoodAlive members will NOT speak on behalf of the organization unless specifically requested to do so by a LakewoodAlive officer. Members are encouraged to express their personal viewpoints about economic development as informed, private citizens.

There are no membership dues or volunteer requirements for membership in LakewoodAlive. In order to further the mission of LakewoodAlive and cover the administration costs of distributing information to members and providing speakers to the community, any help you are able to provide is welcome:
